2046. The moment has finally dawned upon us. Go see it now!

Sorry for being so quiet. In the process of moving house. 3 bedrooms, 650 sq feet, HK$3500/month, right in the heart of Yau Ma Tei. Can't really go wrong. I leave for europe on monday for the tstgu tour. Details on everything coming soon.

Sunday, September 5

Exactly 3 months have passed since my long-awaited decisive move back to Hong Kong. A lot has happened in that short span of time, probably more than my time in London put together, in terms of events of significant nature anyway.

Even though I'm still without a computer or a permanent internet connection, at least I now have, for the first time in my life, a place to finally call my own - all 200 something square feet of it. Small perhaps by some standards but it's luxury compared to where I used to live in Chicago and definitely spacious when you consider that a unit of this sort is normally shared by a family of 4.

For a change I'll be in HK for the entire month and it should see me begin filling up the flat with everyday bits and pieces such as shelves and curtains. A fridge would be pretty nice too. I will also hopefully be starting out on the best job I could ever ask for but I can't really disclose much of that until it really happens.

My birthday also happens to be just a couple of weeks away... my first to be celebrated in Hong Kong in a decade, but I've been so pre-occupied with so many other things I really haven't found the time to give it any thought.

Suggestions are most welcome.
