As of last saturday evening, the apartment has been wired up with a 6M broadband line, so at long last I am once again plugged back into the matrix. It's been a good week for the aparment. Besides internet access, the place also got set up with a TV and fridge. And as if these distractions aren't enough, the discounted PS2 that is included with the broadband subscription will show up in a couple of weeks. I can't imagine the detrimental effect all this is going to have on my social life.
At least the apartment is starting to look cozy, especially with the recent addition of a handful of cute chairs, courtesy of my flatmate/tenant. The curtains and mattress should arrive sometime this week. Then all I need for Christmas is a new scanner and I can get this site on the move once again, although I am quite dreading the task of scanning in 6 months' worth of images.

As a recent visitor has accurately observed, I'm now back in Hong Kong and have been busy sterilizing the stinky wardrobes of my nice big apartment, as well as looking for gainful employment of the 'minimum hours, maximum pay' variety. Trying to get broadband set up at home has also been a major ordeal. Until then it's going to be silence for the most part and zero new photos for you to enjoy. Sorry.
